The Bellator 283 is equipped and ready to later take down TONIGHT (Friday, July 22, 2022) from inside the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington, which features a heavyweight bout between former division champion Douglas Lima, with rookie contender, Jason Jackson. In further action, Sidney Outlaw Tofiq Musayev will battle it out in a lightweight title elimination battle.

Douglas Lima against. Jason Jackson
Round one: High kick from Lima, low kick from Jackson. Jackson finishes the removal process and is on guard. Lima tries to work his way out of this predicament, but Jackson holds the position firmly. Jackson tries to climb but Lima prevents. Jackson kept busy from first place and pretty much took over this tour. 10-9 Jackson
Round two: Jackson wins early and eliminates Lima again. Knees on Jackson’s thighs. Once again Lima is standing on his back and struggling to get up. Not a good position for Lima. He grabs his arm and looks for his arm. Jackson picks him up and criticizes him. Lime delivers a heavy blow and shakes Jackson, who is dizzy for a second but recovers. Once again, Jackson was on top and raining some tough shots. 10-9 Jackson
Round 3: Jackson went into another early takedown but Lima defended well here against the cage. Foot stomps of Jackson. Lima knocks out Jackson and is now in first place. Jackson was able to get up and then shot inside and achieved his takedown goal. Jackson drops some big shots from the Lima goalkeeper. Lima tries to return fire but can’t get much punch. Jackson is all over it on the floor again. 10-9 Jackson
Round four: Low leg kicks from Lima to start things off. Jackson shoots another removal operation and he gets it. This strategy is not felt by the crowd and the birdie is now fully operational. Jackson drops some body shots. Lima looks a little underwhelmed here, and for good reason because he’s low on the scorecards and Jackson is pretty heavy up front. Lima is bleeding over his right eye. Three minutes into the fourth round, Jackson dominated the round and fight. Lima is breathing heavily here, which isn’t a good sign to go into the fifth and final round on all the scorecards. There’s not a lot of movement and it’s not an exciting strategy, but it works for Jackson. 10-9 Jackson
Round 5: Lima comes out strong, throws brilliantly and right Jackson lands again. This is simply not good for the former world heavyweight champion. Jackson simply works from above and will not leave Lima. Lima works hard but simply does not have the strength to rise. Jackson with some body shots and some to the head. Lima is frustrated. That was the story of the fight. Jackson exits the entire round on top to claim the dominant win. 10-9 Jackson
End result: Jackson was defeated. Lima by unanimous decision
Sydney Outlaw vs. Tofig Musaev
Round 1: From the top right of Musayev, the left hand takes the Outlaw out of the jump. He’s on his legs wobbly and Musaev lands on the right of another falling outlaw. It’s all over! Fabulous!
The end result: the defeat of Musaev. Outlaw by knockout in the first round
Osman Nurmagomedov against. Chris Gonzalez
Round one: provisional start for both men. Two minutes in and not much work. Heck kick from Nurmagomedov. Gap from Nurmagomedov. Two and a half minutes and both men were paused so far. Lots of tricks from Gonzalez. Gonzalez rushes to Nurmagomedov and gets the decisiveness and Nurmagomedov reverses his position and leads. Sink into the front throttle. It’s tight and Gonzalez is forced to click.
End result: Nurmagomedov was defeated. Gonzalez via the guillotine in the first round
Lawrence Larkin against. Muhammed Berkhamov
Round 1: Larkin comes hot with several big shots, Berkhamov escapes and scores an early takedown and is now in side control. Berkhamov keeps Larkin low and Larkin can do little to get up. Larkin uses the cage to walk on the wall on his two feet. Larkin drops his elbow to the back of the head and Berkhamov falls in pain. A break in action to allow Berkhamov to recover. Berkhamov tells the referee that he feels dizzy. After gaining the majority of the five minutes, Berkhamov told the referee that he could not continue and call the fight.
Final Result: No-Contest Referee (NC)
Davion Franklin against. Marcelo Golem
Round 1: Gap from Franklin. Golm comes with a right arm. Low kick from the golem. Golem grabbed Franklin’s kick and hit him with the cloth. Golem takes his back. Franklin scrambles. Franklin chooses a golem and stands on his feet and hits him on the canvas! Fabulous! He picks it up again and slams it again. Looks like WWE here. Franklin lateral control. Franklin drops some bad elbows on the golem’s chin. A golem made a disgusting wound above his right eye. Golem with the upper right that clean land. Golm nasty elbow to jaw. Golem is now walking in Franklin. Franklin’s tongue flies out and another golem comes out. 10-9 Franklin
Round two: Another big hit from Franklin. Low kick from the golem. Melee in order to stand against the cage. A golem with a hard dose and Franklin simply walks backwards. Franklin’s Spinning Back Wilderness Grip captures nothing but air. Decisive against the fence, Golem is looking for a takedown. A strong blow from Franklin stuns Gollum momentarily. Franklin was tired, looking at the clock and marking Golm with a group one to two. Franklin shoots and secures removal. lateral control. Golm somehow sweeps over and reverses the situation in lateral control. Now Franklin reverses the situation, wow, nothing but brute force to pull that off. Franklin on guard dropping elbows as the round ends. Close. 10-9 golems
Round 3: Switch kick from Franklin and Gollum fires back with his right hand. Franklin’s level changed but Golem stuffed the removal process. The golem shoots up and Franklin fires again with a right-handed blade that cleaves his opponent’s jaw. The cut golem bleeds again. Golem pushes Franklin up against the cage and drops a few knees in the midsection. Franklin throws bombs even though he’s exhausted. The golem vaporizes all the haymakers and pushes Franklin toward the cage. Knees to the inner thigh of the golem. Franklin’s brutal spinner spins and Golem makes him pay by taking him down. He takes his back and plunges into the back bare choke and makes him click! Fabulous. The bloodstained golem gives Franklin his first ever defeat.
The end result: Golm def. Franklin through a naked rear throttle
