In the behind-the-scenes video, Bartha will discuss this upcoming TV series saying, “What’s so special about the TV show, it’s a different world now. Exploring American history was a lot different 20 years ago and I was a guy on the set. Not now.”

When asked about her character as an illegal immigrant, Oliveira replied, “I couldn’t be more proud. And Cormac’s father was never an American citizen.”

The treasure story is about women in history as well.”

“So we covered Ben Franklin and the Founding Fathers. We did these guys and this time we wanted to go,” to find some interesting female characters from history that we can write about, and craft a treasure story around. So that was really important to us.”

The series appears to be part of Disney’s strategy to radically reshape the United States of America that CEO Bob Chabek outlined in March when he and the company admitted to raising young children.

In an email to Disney employees, Chuckle detailed, “I don’t want anyone to mistake a statement for a lack of support. We all share the same goal of a more tolerant and respectful world. What we may differ in is the tactics for getting there.”

“And because this struggle is so much bigger than any single bill in any one state, I believe the best way for our company to make lasting change is through the inspirational content we produce, the welcoming culture we create, and the diverse community organizations we support.”
