Marvel Studios shut down SDCC 2022 with fanfare! The superhero studio showed off a full lineup of previously revealed projects, like Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man 3, Blade, and the Fantastic Four (and more!) while teasing new Marvel movies and shows in hits like Avengers Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars — hinting at what He’s coming to the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by showing not just all of Phase 5 but most of Phase 6!

Stage 6 has been confirmed, it will start with four Fantastic, and end with the Avengers of the Kang Dynasty and the Secret Wars

The Marvel Panel team certainly did not disappoint. Not only did stage 5 show in its entirety, but they went straight ahead and past it to talk about stage 6. For starters, the series won’t be called the Infinity Saga but rather it will be called Multivserse Sage, stage 6 will start with the Fantastic Four and end with Avengers The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gets first trailer and plot details

The first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been released, it has appeared in the prequel to the next Black Panther movie, Sub-Mariner, and more. Watch the full trailer linked below, and read IGN’s breakdown of it here.

Not only that, but it has been confirmed that Tenoch Huerta will play Namor in the film. Fans will get a chance to return to Wakanda, when the film premieres on November 11, 2022.

The fourth Captain America movie, Captain America New World Order is coming in 2024

Marvel has announced that a fourth Captain America movie, Captain America: New World Order, will be released in theaters May 3, 2025. Announced as part of the Marvel Studios panel at SDCC 2022, the film will be Anthony Macki’s first feature film. The new Captain America after the events of Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

No trailer has been shown at SDCC, but Marvel producer Nate Moore has previously said that this movie will explore “what makes someone Captain America,” and dive into Sam Wilson’s underdog status as the new Cap.

She-Hulk and Black Panther will conclude the fourth stage of Marvel, and the fifth stage has been revealed

The panel kicked off aggressively with Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer at Marvel, and it’s officially confirmed that She-Hulk and Black Panther will conclude Phase 4 of Marvel Cinemaitc Universie, while officially revealing Phase 5 of the series.

Phase 5 will begin on February 17, 2023, with Ant-Man and Wasp Quantumania and will end on July 26, 2024, with Thunderbolts. In between, ten more MCU movies and TV series will air – check out the image below for the full schedule!

Marvel shows like Loki Season 2, Ironheart, Echo and Agatha get potential release windows

As Marvel’s Phases 4 and 5 kick off, some Marvel shows got tight release windows during San Diego Comic Con. These games include Marvel’s Echo, Loki Season 2, which will release in the summer of 2023, and Ironheart, as well as the newly renamed Agatha: Coven of Chaos, both of which will be released that winter..

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Show 3 Trailer, Maria Bakalova Plays Cosmo Spiderdog

The first trailer for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. #3 was featured on SDCC, and it was revealed that Maria Bakalove will play Cosmo the Spacedog. The trailer featured Gamora, who doesn’t remember anything about the Guardians (or Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill), running a division of the Ravagers. For full details, click here!
