The first issue of the series was released in March 2021, and the ninth issue debuted last month.

Following the arrival of the comic book, it was announced that Netflix would produce both a live-action film and animated series based on BRZRKR.
Reeves is currently set to both star in the movie and produce the animated show, which is planned for two seasons.
The performer spoke about working with his currently unnamed co-creator during the panel and expressed via Entertainment Weekly that they quickly became fans of the comic.
