When we think of franchises that have lasted for decades, we often think of the likes star Warsor Marvel or Jurassic Park. But it’s so easy to forget about it Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtleswhose popularity has not waned since its debut in the mainstream media in 1987.
Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesCreated by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, it began life as a comic book in 1984, before being made into an animated children’s series that ran from 1987 to 1996. In the meantime, three live action films were also released in theaters.

There have also been several animated iterations in the decades since, as well as a CG animated film and two live-action films from producer Michael Bay. Then there are all the endless rows of merchandise, from action figures to video games, that have dominated shelves for years!
And like movies and cartoons, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Picture books are also in progress. Originally, Mirage held the copyright, before Archie took over. But in recent years, IDW Publishing has taken the reins, and continues to look unique TMNT Stories.

One of the most recent storylines is “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin”, a five-issue series from co-authors Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, set in the future where Michelangelo is the only remaining Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and seeks to get revenge for the death of his fallen brothers.

Set in battle-ravaged New York City, the lone surviving turtle embarks on a seemingly desperate mission seeking justice for the family he’s lost. From legendary TMNT founders Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, prepare for the final story of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles developed by three decades!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is definitely a brave departure from all other things TMNTHowever, it is actually more in tune with the tone of the early Mirage comic books. In fact, fans of those stories wanted an R rating. Ninja Turtles movie for decades.
Well, that wish is now a reality, as one fan has adapted one scene from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin” into a CG animated short. The short film of the same name was recently uploaded to YouTube channel “Speedokaggen” by creator Magnus Edlund.

When it comes to the comic books, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin” is definitely among the darker iterations, and this new fan-made movie definitely captures the spirit of the five-issue series, which Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird have been wanting to produce. He wrote comics days ago under the Mirage.
The film will likely attract the attention of Paramount Pictures, which may one day give fans a much darker tone Ninja Turtles Movie. So far, the six darkest live action movies are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), which may still be family friendly to many fans.

However, just like Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can do well in many different ways, whether it’s camp and cheese, or dark and spunky. The question is, will fans get an R rating. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie deserve it?
Never Say Never – R-rated blockbuster movies have become increasingly popular in recent years. dead list (2016), Logan (2015), the DC Extended Universe suicide squad (2021), as well as Marvel’s reckless The TV series (2015) are just a few examples.

There are currently six live events Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movies, however, is another movie on the way from producer Michael Bay and SNL writers Colin and Casey Jost. There’s also a new animated movie set for theaters in the works, from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
Meanwhile, many villain focus TMNT The films are slated to release on Paramount+, courtesy of Nickelodeon Animation, while Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie (2022), based on the animated series of the same name, will be released on Netflix on August 5.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Not the only IP from the 80s due to a wave of new stories, such as Ghostbusters You will also get a new live action movie, a new animated movie, an animated series, several video game titles, and a new comic book.
However, this time the latter will not fall under IDW Publishing, and will instead come from Dark Horse Comics. Either way, it’s a great time to be a fan of the ’80s – it’s just a shame Weird things (2016) has not yet introduced a talking turtle of sorts.
