Spells in Spades July update released a massive amount of content in Arkesia last week, with Arcanist Advanced Class, Valtan Inferno Raid, Maharaka Summer Festival, Challenge Abyssal Raids, new progression events, and more! Be sure to check out the full list in the release notes if you haven’t ventured into Arkesia to experience it firsthand yet.
Despite the flurry of new content, we know gamers are excited to see what’s coming to Arkesia over the remaining summer months. In August and September, things will work a little differently. Instead of getting one major update per month, we’ll split changes, updates, and new content into three updates – a smaller content update in August, a quality of life and back-end tech update in early September, and a final major content update toward the end of September.
The content and updates below are some of the highlights we know players are looking forward to, and like previous roadmaps, it’s not an exhaustive list of everything that’s released in these updates. Stay tuned to our website, social channels, and release notes for the full list of new content, store updates, events, bug fixes, and more.
Pet Farm is the perfect place to play, grow and earn rewards with your pet. Complete “Yay, Pet Ranch!” Quest after you open the farm and cave and get a pet. Restore your pet’s morale, manage pet jobs, and earn jelly cookies that can be exchanged for valuable rewards!
Maharaka Festival – Blooming Mokokos
The ongoing Maharaka Festival will receive new activities in the August update – the leaves of the Marahaka Tree in Maharaka Paradise are known to bring good luck. Collect as many as you can during the Marahara Festival and exchange them for swatches, animal skins, and more!
September – Part One
As mentioned above, September will have two major updates. The first September update will include some background core technical updates that pave the way for the second September update. We also thought it would be a good time to incorporate some of the recent improvements in quality of life that were recently added in the South Korea region. We’ll have a full list of changes detailed in the update release notes, but some key QoL features gamers can look forward to including:
Global Chat Room (announced in Korea as LoaTalk), chat improvements, and Guild group chat.
Improved interaction across servers, including interaction with people from different servers in Strongholds, and the ability to add friends from different servers.
2 new hairstyles per semester.
Trixion Training Grounds is updated to become a better practice environment to test many different combinations (Skill Runes/Gems/Inscriptions/Cards) for settings with more skill points.
PvP class balance patch.
Better PvP settings, improved Guild systems, and improved console support and settings.
September – Part Two
The second update in September will be the major update to the content, including a new advanced class, Legion Raid, and events. This update will also include some server integrations. We will continue to monitor which worlds may use consolidation, providing comprehensive details of which servers are merging and how merging functions lead to an update.
New advanced class – Mechanic
The Mechanic arrives in Arkesia armed to the teeth with the latest submachine guns, laser weapons and drones found in Arthentine – ready to blast, incinerate and neutralize any threat with surgical precision. When weapons and drone strikes aren’t enough to take down a target, the Mechanic can activate their ID skill and match the cutting edge technology with the Hypersync ability. The energy cores of a high-tech Hypersync suit can be charged via drop attacks, and once inside, the Hypersync core energy will be spent by abilities until the mechanic runs out. The mechanic will join Deadeye, Gunslinger, Artillerist and Sharpshooter as the fifth Gunner Advanced Class.
Sarsour Corps raid Saida
Kakol Sidon enters the battlefield in the Third Legion Raid. In this raid, you will experience the frenzy of the midnight circus as you battle the members of the Legion of Chaos and the legion’s leader, Kakol Sidon. There are no revivals available mid-battle, so be prepared to fight for your life. Different from Valtan & Vykas, Kakul-Saydon is a four-player legion raid. Legion Raid has 3 portals, which are complete with a host of new unique characteristics, abilities, and mechanics. While players will need item level 1475 to attempt the raid’s normal difficulty, an easier version of the raid can be entered called Midnight Circus: players can enter a rehearsal at item level 1385 to practice the challenging mechanics and teamwork required to conquer the Legion of Chaos.
New events, new skins and more!
There will be new events, new skins and more in September. We’re excited to witness the epic battles against Kakul-Saydon, and witness the high-tech battlefield prowess of the mechanic in action. Stay tuned to our website, social channels, and release notes for the full list of new islands, store updates, events, bug fixes, and more over the coming months. We’ll see you in Arkesia!
